where do i draw
inspiration
Inspiration is drawn from within, people, and places. We can't deny that in this digital age we are also influenced by what we consume on social media. Photos, and sometimes artworks themselves help inspire us. No artworks have been copied, however some may have been appropriated to become my own. Rest assured, your statement piece will be one of a kind!
commissions
Q. What is commissioned art? A. It is a piece of art that is created on behalf of someone i.e you!
If you or a business would like a commissioned artwork or print, please contact me via email to discuss manufacture time, price, design, and frames. Price will range from $100-$700 purely based on the size and intricacy of the artwork design. See below for techniques and mediums, so lets get creative!

FELT TIP PEN - STIPPLING
TECHNIQUE
Stippling is a technique used to create some of my artworks. It involves the use of a felt tip pen to create dots. The density of dots is what creates shading, and therefore an artwork! This technique is the best way to obtain great detail. See an example from the Koala artwork above in the Custom Art section above.
Markers - Lines
Technique
I use lines to create minimalist artworks. The thickness of the line varies by the marker I decide to use. This technique is often used to create abstract figure representations.
WATERCOLOUR
MEDIUM
I like to use this medium when I try to capture the flowy nature of my subject. Due to the properties of watercolour, this allows me to create wonderful pieces that highlight unique texture and movement.
GRAPHITE
MEDIUM
Graphite is something we all used when we first started to learn how to draw. It is the most versatile medium available to create smooth textures as well as rough. Professional black and white watercolour pencils help intensify the contrast.
Frames
Only available for standard dimensions. If available, frames will be offered in your item description! Frames feature a black timber frame with a rectangular beveled profile, glass cover, and white mount.
